If the price is right then it probable isn't
Don't like the lining, don't like the litzen, GD cypher is a cast fake (if you've seen enough real ones you'll know why I said that) cannot comment on the rest of the tunic, not too keen on the armband either.
just my opinion though ... I suppose 40 years could be classed as a good apprenticeship
Thanks. I'm at the 43rd East Coast Rally. A lot of good stuff. But a lot of Reproductions.
I also think that if it was actually what it is purported
to be, the owner would not have let it become
filthy dirty and covered in lint and
dog hair.........

Steve.
Ha Thanks for the observation. When I questioned the vender, he was very evasive... glad I didn't get it.. thanks for the speedy help...
I know we love our pets - but would you go out for dinner
or to weddings and funerals without at least brushing
your clothes off ?
In other words, something that is potentially valuable
would normally be taken care of, instead of being
tossed on the ground. Especially an item from a
dealer, who you'd expect would want to get
top dollar - even from a repro.........
Regards,
Steve.
I was kidding and yes I close inspection you will find dog hair on me on all formal occasions .
Well, I have many tunics that have cat hair on them..but what bothers me, and I know little about German WW2 Items, is that the hole in the 3rd photo down ( near the edge of the photo) looks like it was cut, not mothed, and I find the mothing pattern in the 2nd photo to be a bit odd also.
Just my thoughts
