I had posted it here before and there wasn't a problem . But I do hate TR cloth for just that reason , so much variation in construction . And so many good fakes .

Sadly all too true. With these it is such a subjective issue and one day you can look at one like this and like it and on another day think it is bogus. In the main I stay away from these, especially Luft bullion eagles which seem to have an endless amount of variations and deciding good from bad is a real headache IMHO. My only Luft bullion eagle for a tunic, good I assume, but hey who knows on these.

It was but sadly the bullion was degrading, though I have stabilised it by keeping it in a sealed packet.

Indeed Steve, the only Bullion I have or have owned were all salty examples and it does make it easier to feel comfortable with them, though I have seen good condition examples that I would have been happy to own. My other two bullion examples, Heer & KM.
