    Hi Dave, can you post some pics of the inside, any lining or belt support straps also the underneath of the collar?
    And the back, please. It is surprising that it has not got a green collar, but it has slash pockets on the hips. Can you post a closeup of the button holes as well?

    I will post more pics up when i get it, it was being sold on ebay by an oxfam charity shop who told me if im not happy with it i can return so suspose worth a shot,i have also just noticed a shadow of where a breast eagle was, cheers Dave

    Thanks Dave for posting the pics of the back. Interesting that it has got a trace of an eagle, but they never changed the collar to the green type, which you most often see with pre-TR rocks which have been used during the TR period.

    The cut of the back and the slash pockets and the stand up collar make it look as if it is as Ade said and it stands a good chance of being original. Its good if you have a right of return, no worries then.

    PS, when it arrives, look inside the interior pockets, because these tunics often have a makers lable and owners name. The one I used to own had a 1929 dated makers and owners tag.
