Original m40 jacket?

From these photos the base jacket looks to be original. I would like to see some close ups of the boards, eagle and collar tabs though. There are some issues there.

I can confirm that the jacket is original. As Fred says, close on the insignia re needed.

I, too, would like to see a good shot of the eagle. The tabs look to have been sewn on by a person with very poor seamstress skills...

The tunic, as stated earlier, is original. It has had some serious repair to include a good portion of the lower side, cuffs, buttons replaced and multiple insignia replacements. The collar tabs have been replaced multiple(maybe 3 ) times. These collar tabs I do not believe are original. The shoulder board bridles (straps that hold the boards on) look to be original from the small photo but the straps are bad reproductions. The breast eagle might be original but It has also been replace at least 2 times.

Can someone else confirm if the eagle and collar tabs are original or not?

Im pretty dissapointed the owner replaced the insignia so much.

The shoulder straps are repro, the collar tabs appear to be repro. The breast eagle could also be a reproduction or an original I am not positive. It has been trimmed and it is not the first eagle that has been applied to the tunic. The obergefreiter patch is a very nice used original.
