Out of the woodwork artillery tunic.

Article about: Hey gang! I got a call about a German jacket last week. I meet the gentleman today and bought this. Got a little salt but seems to be 100% original to me. Oberwachtmeister???

Incredible find "in the wild". Much more exciting than finding stuff at a show, IMO. With all those award loops you could really dress that thing up!

I have a similar NCO Feldbluse. It is an Alter Art style. It may have been a pretty common thing to use older uniforms or have older styles tailor made to display your veteran status. Just a theory. NH

This is great acquisition. Alter Art uniforms are far more interesting than regular issue. NH

    Hi

Nice original tunic, I believe it is a m1928 walking out tunic of the reichswehr that has been carried over for use during ww2. he has the speiss tresse and also the tresse in RW fashion around the top of the tunic collar.

The 1928 pattern tunic was for parade and walking out use only and had eight buttons as opposed to six on the combat tunic issued the same year. These were also private purchase a lot of the time look carefully on the lining but you may not find any unit markings and that is still ok. the style was with the bottom pockets inside and the slanted outer flaps, plus waffen fabre up the front and tun up cuffs. very nice congrats.

    cheers

    Hello Tony,
The M28 pattern tunics does have six front buttons only. IMO this one is a M27 pattern, a privately purchased Rock
    Thanks
