That one is truly amazing , but it has some great pieces.
The icing on the cake where 2 old german Vets, brothers both almost 90 yo, one did service in the East and was captured and spend 4 years in a camp in Poland before he escaped with 4 others with the help of a guard, the other one saw DDay and fought his way back to Nijmegen (Hollland) which he recalled, was the hell on earth, fight for every single house....
What stroke them after the war was the fact that even in februar 1945 they still believed in Victory......Propoganda machine worked almost till the end....

The insignia on the Mutze is not officer, is it stated it belonged to Gen.Guderian? where did the wrap come from? was it donated by the family? thanks for shareing!
