    Hello,

for me it looks like a fake. I think the rank has been sewn on additionaly, the stamp also looks a bit new IMO.

    Best regards

I have no problem with the jacket or the RB number markings.

These rank badges are tricky. Their use was not widespread and originals are not that common. They don't seem to have been a popular souvenir item with Allied troops. Plus they are easy to fake.

A real good close up photo might help.

    Cheers, Ade.

Do not take it off. I think it is OK.

    Hello,
Ade is right when he wrote that these rank patches for garment without shoulderstraps are tricky...I have handled a few in the past and the one shown here is conform to what i have seen before. The cloth, design and colours look OK.
My problem is that the garment itself has wear when the patch has none. And what about stitchings ?
Honestly i would like to see new photos in detail showing the inside of the sleeve....
I also agree with Ade, dont take it off for the moment
    Thanks

    Good morning!
Here is some close up of the of the stitchings inside the sleeve and outside.
I did see the seams to a tailor, who told me that the stitchings are not recent... but I trust most of your opinion

    Thanks in advanced
