    I'm sorry but if it is original why it is so cheap? There were quite a few azers in Wehrmacht so this shield can not be very common.

    Not a TR production expert here, but I think that this is due to the fact that hundreds of them were produced at places like Dachau, without ever being issued. Therefore large quantities of them were discovered at the end of the war just piled up in warehouses. GI's brought them home, and they are pretty easy to find, like foreign volunteer insignia.
