Hello Franz,
Is there a tailors label or name associated with this uniform? It appears to be in great shape. Do you have a picture of it before you restored it? Thanks.

Re: rittmeister of 5th cavalry regiment Feldmarschall von Mackensen
Hello Fred,
Yes in the Interior of the jacket are the two labels, one of tailoring and the other, inside the Pocket, on which are written the date and the name (and the name are not readable).
I'm sorry I didn't do the photos of the jacket when I found it, it's been a long time since

Re: rittmeister of 5th cavalry regiment Feldmarschall von Mackensen
Hello Franz,
That is too bad that you cannot read the name. It would, and probably still is, a researchable tunic. I am certain that you could find the name of theindividual but it would take some time.

Awesome looking tunic. Pictures of the details would also be nice.
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377

Re: rittmeister of 5th cavalry regiment Feldmarschall von Mackensen
Thank you Friends
The most interesting of this officer feld bluse is the cuff title, Feldmarschall v. Mackensen, one of most rarest cuff titles of Wehrmacht. This exemplar is machine sewed with the letters in block letters in white wire on black cloth … construction and dimensions as per Regulation and not a Variant in hand-sewn or cursive script.
