that already looks so much better.
quick question isn't the edelwiess supposed to be on the other shoulder like the bw version?
Tom....Originally, the Bundeswehr version was worn up to the early 1960's on the right arm, in exactly the same position as the Wehrmacht regulations stated, it only moved to the left shoulder after the introduction of BW armshields around 1962.
    Prost ! Steve.

I love this tunic Steve I had considered purchasing it for my collection as well but my piggy bank was quite empty as I had just purchased my M36 feldbluse The moleskin materal caught my eye right away as well .There is another odd alteration that has been done to this tunic IMO and that is that it has been shortened or am I mistaken ? There are two reasons that come to mind the first being of course that it was altered for the stature of a smaller man . The second being that it was altered for a soldat in a mechanized unit I have seen this type of alteration before from my understanding this was done as to give the soldat more upper body mobility and free movement as he would not be sitting on his coat tails .

Hi Steve. Just changing out the buttons to the correct type made
a big difference. EK ribbon would be appropriate if you intend
to use the ribbon bar shown.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
