Strange cap eagle

I purchased this "Sterbebild" today for an exhibition in Finland in 2017. Is there something strange about the cap eagle on the picture? All help welcome!

Kind of reminds me of the first pattern SS eagle, the wingspread.
Though I would weigh it to maybe be a regular SS eagle? Though the wings look very wide though.

I'd be more inclined to say regular SS cloth eagle , the wing tips seem to come to a point . Angle of photo makes it look like a first pattern . IMHO , Could also be a regular army pattern just looking odd at this angle .

Yes. Looking at it again, I'd think so, too.

It can be very difficult to make out details in these old grainy photos .

Also first pattern is a rare bird to be seen anywhere late war , especially used outside the SS .
