Tropical patch missing!

Article about: Hello all, I have this nice panzer grenadier tropenbluse here which has a patch missing on the right upper sleeve. I just wanted to know what the possible patches could have been?

    Most likely GbJr patch.
    What's the depot/date stamp on that example? Good looking straps, too. The eagle is in fact an early cotton tropical example. I'd like to see interior shots to determine if originally applied. On 2nd patterns I'd expect a rayon blend example - but considering these were manufactured from 1941 onwards, much is possible...
