Two jackets - one copy one not so sure-help

Hi Guys

I'm looking to build a jacket represeenting an SS- feldgendarmerie
One of my mates finds things and sent me 2 jackets - one I'm sure is a copy the other Im not sure

The 1st jacket is the copy (99%) sure



Someones badged it up with copy badges apart from the ribbon bar

The second jacket is a bit of a mash up and very salty

Field dressing pocket has been removed badges stuck to the collar as well as tresse

buttons repositioned and holes where badges were on th pockets

but it shows a lot of age

the sigrunes were in the pocket with the tresse and are bullion ( corroded) on velvet

any pointers/ help greatly appreciated

Hello Perce,

As you stated the first one is a reproduction. Not even a one piece of original insignia IMO.

The second tunic is bad due to alot of things. The cut of the pocket flaps. It looks like it is an open collar 4 button tunic. The buttons are removeable. The lining material, The tunic material , the tunic markings,.....you can pretty much go on forever. Neither are good IMO.

The buttons weren't originally removable someone's made holes in the tunic to push them through

The ss collar tabs are horrible. Incorrect material and runes. It has a hitler youth rzm tag on it, I have no idea why though. The tag maybe the only thing ok here IMO, but due to the water damage, I can not be certain.
