Article about: I'm still after that elusive first tunic / feldbluse, which hopefully if the gods work with me I shall hopefully acquire by the weekend, but once received how do you go about caring for it?

    Thanks FB, appreciate your help.
Having recently been accused of negligence in this connection, I am happy to help.

This is what I quickly found, and the others will make their statements.

I think this is at pay grades above my own, but who knows. I strive to set a high standard.

Adrian Stevenson works with very gifted people in the discipline and I am sure he can help you, also.

I believe it is Asperious who had advice and link on archival/proper care of militaria.

Just do a search on the site for "moths", and you will find it. Go through the thread for the links.

Or not, but I have great respect for this institution and I always set my sights high. At the same time, we are not museums, with the resources and expertise of same.

There are others here who are professionals in this discipline. I am a professional in history, too, but of a somewhat different sort.

Here is a link to the thread. I found it to be an interesting read and I'm always open to ideas on preventing moths.
