Unknown '1937' badge
Hi all,
new here, so excuse my lack of knowledge on the subject! Can anyone tell me about the cloth badge dated 1937, please? My great uncle brought it back (along with the arm band) from Germany in 1945.
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Unknown '1937' badge
It's the Sportabzeichen (Sport's Badge)...fairly common, although the dated ones such as this are more scarce...I'm positive there are others with more information, ...Glenn

Re: Unknown '1937' badge
Hi Glen, he had a HJ knife in the barn, but unfortunately I'm not sure what happened to it? I've got a lot of stuff belonging to my grandpa though, which I'll try and upload sometime. He was a military chaplain, 49th Division, MC and MiD in North West Europe, 1944.
Jerry, here is a photo of the back.
Cheers,
Tom
