Converted pre TR period pea jacket, is that a Weimar eagle on the reverse of the button?. More pics including close ups of the insignia application and the lining would help, but it seems ok so far.

Whatever its just an opinion.
I think Jerry is right.
I haven't seen this type of lining before but it looks ok overall.

thanks any idea of value / it comes with a cap....kev
Usually these are sold for 400-500 euros. Of course this one is more rare so maybe a bit more.
Have you authenticate the cap?
If everything is ok about it with originally applied insignia, i would say 200-250 euros. Depends on it's condition too.
I found recently a very nice one in black color, instead of the standard navy blue, which makes it very rare and i paid 250 euros. Of course the price was better as it was purchased from a friend.

I would expect to see a cockade like this and also to be machine sewn instead of hand sewn like yours.
Maybe a more experienced member on insignia can comment.

In the same way as you have black cap for the KM with blue backed cockade, this cap is blue with a black backed cockade and it's not a problem IMO.
I like the jacket and I remember seeing pics of one with a lining the same/similar to this, but sadly I can't remember where, so I could not be 100% that it is period. You could try posting it on Atlantik-Pirat forum.
