Re: waffen frock
I assume pic's were made indoor with a flash?
It looks nice, but difficult to tell if it is signals or cavalry....
Especialy when the pic of the shoulder strap turns over to the artillery color.... ;-)
cheers

Re: waffen frock
Waffen frock??
You mean Waffenrock.
To be sure, photos of the eagle, better photos of the interior lining and photos of the back are need.
Cheers.

Re: Waffenrock
It appears to be an honest cavalry waffenfrock.
Nice find.

Re: Waffenrock
Nice tunic.
The color of the boards look like orange on my screen. Is it indeed like this or is it the shade on the photo?
The photo of the eagle is blurry but i think it has been reapplied. This would explain probably the fact that the boards are for an EM whilst the eagle is a silver bulion type used on the officer's tunics.
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377

Hi
Nice tunic.
If you want some info on the regt and its history look on this thread. I have a cap attributed to this very regt.
