Wehrmacht Cutoff Breast Eagle

Article about: Hi guys, I wanted to share a neat cutoff eagle I picked up yesterday in a veteran lot. I love the patina it has!

    Thanks everyone, snapped some quick pics of the Panzer eagle. I'm thinking he must of stitched it onto this cloth so he wouldn't lose the eagle?

    Hello,
    Thanks for posting this Panzer Hoheitsabzeichen.
    I'm not so sure that the previous owner stitched the eagle on this piece of cloth just to avoid losing it....two or three stitches would have been enough i guess. There is a possibility that this eagle was wartime sewn to a Drillichrock, it's against the regulation, but it can be seen on period photos. Some even added shoulderstraps.
