Wehrmacht officer's gaiters?

Hey!

I recently found this pair of gaiters for sale online, do they look like Wehrmacht officer's gaiters? They do seem to have the correct amount of wear on them and the tag has the DRGM marking on it at least?
Opinions are appreaciated! Thank you.

Never seen them before. I thought only boots were worn.
These look more civilian than military with all those press studs.

If you check out this link, you can see that there are quite a few similar ones for sale on Ebay and they all have been listed as Wehrmacht officer's gaiters.

Hmm, these sort of gaiters were made during the war as well though. You can see some examples in ebay that have a year marked on the tag. They were worn with low boots of course.

Spats or Spatter Guards were in fashion for civilian use from the late 1800s to the 1920s. You may be confusing these with Gamaschen. There are numerous types of military Gamaschen including those used by Gebirgsjäger Truppen. The type in this thread appear to be civilian. NH

These were not worn. Just looked in the Kleiderklass list. Cannot see them listed.

I agree with Ade. They do not show up on the list and their construction is consumer grade. The variety I know is the so called Styrian Gamaschen pictured here. You can see they have a far more robust construction. NH
