Better photos needed of the interior. Appears to be a Medical officer's Mantel. NH

No; it's Truppensonderdienst [TSD], more specifically, its administration branch [Verwaltungsdienst].

(Note that the shoulder board device is a caduceus [Merkurstab], not an Aesculapius rod [Äskulapstab].)

    Rank is Stabszahlmeister.

The greatcoat is post war West German. They have slashed the markings in the pocket to hide this. Note also the cut: there would not be a seam down the front of the coat near the throat on a wartime coat.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hello,
Just wondering about the shoulderboards....how long they've been on the greatcoat ?
The numeral on the button does not go well with this shoulderboard...
    Thanks

Good catch Ade. I thought something was fishy about it which is why I wanted to see better interior photos. They would surely sink it. Overall, this is a boogered with overcoat. NH
