    I think so WW2 Wermacht had size rings more of gray color bund was more green in finer wool what I have had had a similar holey pair once of the same construction and size rings problem is now about every reanactor has a pair as they are highly repoed hope you have a ok pair from your photo's construction is good at least. timothy
