These are indeed post war West German Luftwaffe collar tabs. But I think you will find that they are not for a Major, but these were worn by enlisted men.

Value would be very low.

They are post war Luftwaffe, not quite sure which period, but could be modern types.

They are West German enlisted collar tabs. They do not indicate rank. They are like this on all jacket collars.
