Basically what the title said.
What camo pattern is this?

Strange picture. Looks like no Heer camouflage I've seen. Doesn't look like an original Bundesarchiv picture to me either.
I have a possible theory about it. Could it possibly be a Factory photo?
Like a factory produced a limited number of experimental camo jackets or pants and had this soldier pose against some forest and took a photo to see if the Wehrmacht would give the green light for producing and issuing?
Maybe a possible reenactor photo?
Looks like US ERDL, perhaps a reinactor or modern black and white photo.....
......and yes, I do see the marking in the left lower corner.

John
Where did you find the picture?
I would say that, judging by the over-sharpened nature of the picture, it is a modern picture that has had a Bundesarchiv Bild strip poorly cut and pasted onto it (note the ragged edge between photo and catalogue strip). Its aspect ratio does not conform to any typical Bundesarchiv picture either.
The picture is certainly a fake. Here is a photograph by PK photographer Schlegel with the same catalogue number. The very last number is the frame number and no two pictures had the same entire catalogue number.
It's 100% not period/fake. This guy does not even know how to hold a rifle!
Cheers
