What are your thoughts on these four breast eagles?

I think the first one is a fake, the arms on the hakenkreuz are of different thickness and don't align correctly. The others look real, but the application method on the second example looks a bit unusual, IMO.

Those were my thoughts on the patches when I received them. The second patch appears to be cut from a uniform but I am not that familiar with that style of attachment. It is sewn on but the thread doesn't come through the back. Does anyone know what type of manufacturing process does this?

It is possible to hand sew items and make the stitches not come through all the material.

As ADE said, it's possible to do this, it's known as invisible stitching.
