So is it a fake or an oddity? Seller says no labels or markings as made by a tailor, i have concerns i must admit.

    Hello,
cuffs are piped, as the edge near the closure buttons and collar. Nothing unusual for this kind of garment.
Photos are a bit small IMO.
It is a privately purchased item and i have a good feeling concerning it...
    Thanks

Am I missing something here? This appears to be a original common ornate fully-piped walking out infantry dress tunic.
    Another example:

At any given time, I find more of these for sale online than it's counterpart, a parade Waffenrock tunic.

If you don't mind my asking, what are your concerns?

I was concerned as this is my first Tunic, also the hanger strap appears to be different from 'Youth Collectors's example.
But real reason is I am out of my depth with this tunic, and concerned that I could waste money on a Postwar 'Hybrid.

Hi, it looks like a nice Waffenrock type tunic to me that is a private purchase piece. I like it a lot personally, it has a great style and in my opinion more appealing to the eye than the standard officers tunic. Does the reverse have the "pleated" skirt with buttons or is it more like the standard officers tunic in that respect? Leon.
