Wow guys, yet another Overhoff RAD I am now getting excited, keep em coming boys
Ben
Thankyou for all the comments chaps and thankyou Alex for posting yet again, another Overhoff RAD! For some odd reason, I think that the Overhoff RAD is not as common as some think.
May I suggest that now that we have started the ball rolling on RAD buckles, other forum members could add theirs. What is particularly interesting are the numerous makers marks, supported on occasions by a year code.
Look forward to the additions to this thread.
Regards,
David
Here are some of mine!! First up is a two piece private purchase. Harder to find when compared to the mass produced one piece examples. This one has what looks to me like Overhoff prongs. It's not marked though.....but could be an OLC.
Cheers!
Rob
Here's my mintest example.....A JFS example
Last one is a Noelle and Hueck.....no tab on this one and well used....'37 dated.

Let's see if I can add some new makers as well as a couple of variants of those already shown.
1936
First up is the 3-diamond marking from Richard Sieper & Sohne - a very worn buckle but I like the markings (what's left of them)
1936 - Assmann belonging to "Abtielung 143/3"; I do like unit marked buckles/tabs.
1937 - Gustav Brehmer of Markneukirchen, belonging to AD. Abtielung 240/6.
and
1937 - Bernhard Haarmann of Ludensheid
1938 - Richard Sieper & Sohne of Ludensheid
and
Ernst Schneider of Ludensheid
