    Not as nice but it came on a unit marked belt.
    With all due respect and for the future readers of this thread a "Small" correction, the markings seen on the belt are not unit related but rather the Reichsarbeitsdienst Bekleidungsamt stamp for the clothing office and the mark denoted the official items issued to the Arbeitsmann to be returned upon end of service. The above photo indicates the BA Br 1 38 or Bekleidungsamt Berlin, in Jan. of 38', here are a few "Unit" marked belts that have the Gau and Abteilungen visible.

    Interesting RAD. The buckle was produced by R.S.& S. the tab is Paulmann and Crone. The three R.S.& S. diamonds have been removed. I have found a few other buckles like this on the forum. You see this a lot with daggers and different companies produce different parts.

    Hello,

    According to the Ordinance Gazette (Verordnungsblatt für den Reichsarbeitsdienst) for the RAD , the following clothing offices(Bekleidungsämter) of the RAD existed:

    B = Berlin (called the clothing chamber until July 1935)
    M = Marburg
    Fü= Fürth (until 1940)
    Br = Braunschweig
    Sat = Salzburg
    T = Thorn
    F = (around 1936) for Fürth

    There is also a “RAD technical warehouse” in Magdeburg, also known as the “Zeugamt”.
