Yes they are and good spot, very hard to see if you are not looking for them. Seiper may have been the supplier and Crone put their tab on it. The three ply stitching on the tab looks period to me.

Two years would make a big difference. yellow12's 36' Sieper and Paulmanns' 38' tab... In 1938
by that time Sieper had changed over to R.S&S... but perhaps New Old Stock buckle bought up by Crohn ??

yellow12.. Quite recently David North posted ( 2-17-2014) on a thread about his Paulmann & Crone
dated tab 1936 devoid of any makers marks "Except" for (perhaps) a Sieper Diamond under the the roller bar.. If you have time please look up the thread...Thanks for your reply....Gwar..
I missed out on the Dransfeld tabbed Rad buckle..
He offered me this at the same price... Hell Yeah !!
