Wow, I knew you had buckles, but..........hey, I did ask. :-)
Very nice RAD buckles David. Could I ask why the post sleeve on the last buckle seems to be in 3 pices?

I forgot to mention that the RAD buckle that you showed and which started the thread is an excellent example and congratulations on the acquisition. A crisp obverse detail and especially to the swastika pebbling.

Hope that your buckle will be one of many, although gone are the days when these RAD two piece variants were readily available.

To answer your question - I simply do not know. An interesting method of constructing the pin shroud though!
