Gwar strikes again!....
Hey Gwar,
Another sweet buckle! Would you mind enlightening us newbies what the difference between a private purchase buckle is? Thanks, Bob
CB / Bob.. The slight difference is that upon the obligatory service in the RAD was that you were given "Hand me downs" Trousers.. Tunics & Caps as such.. A Rotation of members.. All items issued were kept or "recycled" to new members. Some chose to upgrade their buckle to look better in "Parade" or walking around without a "Mangled" buckle. Thus they chose to buy a "Private Purchase" These buckles are rarely marked and any manufacturing firm could have produced them as they are not maker marked .. And could be sold by any Hersteller. These are only my opinions though.. I will PM you soon !!

Thanks for the explanation Gwar! That makes sense. Your opinion has much research behind it. Regards, Bob
