I have to agree with Ben, insofar as the RAD buckle shown is a fake. Actually, perhaps and more correctly a fantasy piece as I for one have never seen any RAD buckle, executed in die stamped steel.

There are however examples of die stamped aluminium RAD buckles, complete with a brazed catch arrangement.

I think Gwar posted this steel RAD before but I could not locate the thread. Buckle from a local website where I did buy a nice HJ buckle before. A bit different than the buckle posted here, the catch is very straight, but assuming it's a steel fake?
