i know this buckles .

In my opinion they had not the perfect markers charakters from Assmann !

And the winged man is in my opinion a copie .

For example what i mean :

If the photo you show is an example of a bad Assmann logo then it is not even close to the one on my buckle-which by the way was given thumbs up on the Wehrmacht awards forum.

Just some more info on these buckles. This one was posted on the WA Forum last year. Please note the lack of detail of the icarus.

I stay away from these but the construction and insignia are much better than the OLC copies. I would say it has a chance.

Difficult.

Leaders and Officers buckles are not within my collecting focus, although I have seen a few so called original NSFK Leaders buckles, all of which I have considered to be totally bogus.

The one that you have shown however is the only NSFK Leaders buckle that I would give a fighting chance to. Triple rivet attaching to an emblem is now faked of course. Having said that, I like the construction and detail to the body of your buckle and I also like the detail to the Icarus/winged man emblem.

This is the only NSFK Leaders that I have ever seen where I think that there may be a good chance of it being original.

The Assmann logo is interesting and it is perhaps a little different in style to that commonly seen, although not exclusively so, on say nickle silver HJ buckles. The style of logo is in my opinion quite period, although is set within a different time frame (cessation of the FAD and the introduction of the NSFK Leaders).

Attached is an image to the reverse of an Assmann FAD and which shows a similar style of logo.

It's not only the Stamp but also the catch/hook not real for Assmann on your

NSFK and the shell form !
