I'm not a big fan of them myself. And some of the former "believers" after looking at the evidence and some thought have joined the ranks of those who think that at best they are postwar adaptions/creations that has since been expanded to create a "family" of supposed TR period knives specifically targeting collectors.
With some of the "food for thought" posted below. With one image showing an added bogus "RZM" marking intended to deceive (the stamping on the scabbard is reversed/inverted - the right side image is digitally made readable). Another showing a counterfeiters test etch of the "Party Day" variant that used a legitimate but poor condition HJ knife to test the etching process. And a pair of photos of two "Olympic" version variants with an emblem in the grip. Clearly fakes - not that this has stopped various dealers from selling this junk to unsuspecting collectors. Best Regards, Fred
