It is not perfect and has been resharpened unfortunately but I picked it up for a fair price. I can always upgrade later. Interesting, It was made in 39, first year of war.

A salty one - the scabbard has been repainted, but if
the price was reasonable.........

This Schaaff looks good to me, the guard has had a blow or two, but luckily the diamond survived.
Typical late war pot metal hilt with the right snap wear.
