Hi All .... Here is my Hitler Youth Dagger to share...
Scabbard Paint has thinned in places ... I think this is due to rubbing whilst in wear.
Hope you enjoy, comments as always appreciated.
Thanks

Not my area of expertise (don't think I even have one ) but a nice looking example!
In the 3rd photo I thought the scabbard had a lip at first LoL. Got a bit nervous for a second before I realized it was the leather buffer pad.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Nice Arthur Shuttlehoffer HJ with plenty of cross grain,Very nice indeed, Regards Paul
Glad there wasn’t a lip MAP ....
Nice Schuttelhofer HJ knife. Seems to be a steel hilt, rather than alloy, so probably around 1939 manufacture. Schuttelhofer knifes from this period are very common, and indicate they were a major producer in the late, high ricasso, "rzm only" era. Blade seems in very good order.

These steel hilted hjs have a nice heavy weight to them
Thanks all .... Yes this piece does have a nice heavy weight to it. The Blade has had no use what so ever ... No sharpening etc etc!!
