The new photos are not any more in focus but, now I dislike the fit of the blade to guard and you can see the grinding or sanding on the handle slabs. Not for me.

The insignia is on the backside of the bayonet that was worn against the torso. Bad fake. I have never heard of a HJ fireman's bayonet and believe it to be a fantasy.

I agree with Bob...I have never seen nor heard of an official HJ Fireman's Bayonet...this piece looks put together...
cheers, Glenn
Thanks for the feedback guys. As I mentioned, I didn't expect the new photos to change the facts, just wanted to uploaded them since the owner sent them my way. Thought it would be nice (either way) to provide cleaner photos.
The added swastika engraved on the blade makes me nervous on this one
Come on guys, fireman's bayonet be wear by HJ boys, that's funny.
I have never seen HJ bayonet to be promising and I think they are all fakes.
Is anyone seen period picture with HJ bayo on uniform? I don't think so.
Ivan i will post a scan of the "Handbuch der NSDAP" where the HJ bayonet is mentioned.
They did exsist ........so far I have never seen an Original yet...but they were approved by the NSDAP
