Hitler youth bayonet
Hello guys, ive just seen this photo of a young guy wearing a HJ dagger? i noticed how long it appears to be compared to an ordinary HJ dagger, could it be a HJ bayonet? i always hear the thoughts that no such thing existed, what are your thoughts on this one

Here is a side by side comparision with the photo's providedI would say that it definetely existed, you cant argue with a period photo, they have to be rare and pricey I would imagine.
Minus the frog..which IMO..doesnt belong at all with the HJ knife...which appears the frog and the scabbard lug are 2 different sizes. Correct me if I am wrong about that. The focus should remain on the HJ knife..as frogs hangers etc..cann always be added on. I do agree the knife in the period photo is the same also.
