HJ Dagger

I onl have a few items in my collection most of all is documents, but now iam buying some real artifacts to add my collection.
Ive buyed this HJ dagger
I would like your help and opinion to know if it was a good buy or not.

The dagger is marked RZM M7/18 from RICH.ABR.HERDER Solingen
From 1940
The Diamond looks good on it (it was not glued)
The blade is not sharpened

If you need more pictures of any part i will post it as soon as possible.

Have buy it 260€
It looked to me a good one but these days are hard to tell.

What do you think? It was a good buy?
I know the estimated value is 300 /500 € depending the variety and year.

I have one offer but iam not sure the dagger as no markings and it is suspicious.iam posting it later waiting for your opinion.

The dagger that maybe will buy is this one
It has no markings and i have only these photos from the seller.

If anyone can help identifing it.
I think it is a variation of an HJ dagger but i never seen another one like that.

I dont like the second HJ post war scabbard has a lip on it ,and the handle shields Gary

The first one looks to be very good but I do have my doubts about the second one. The scabbard looks bad and your picture shows that it may not be real, you may compare it to the first and perhaps see the differance. Notice the lip at the enterance. I also have never seen one like this and I would pass it up. It does just not look correct. Just my thought and there are many others that know better.

Personally I think you are a little out on your estimations on price mate. 260 Euros is about right - 300/500 euro's would be top end dealer prices. I like the first one

I have seen those ones like the 1st post 400 /500 € those who have the Blut und Ehre writtings but i dont know if it really is the right price!

By the way is there a list or something like that with the usual prices of these things?


The first one is mine. But the second one i was thinking of...but i was a little suspicious, because i ve never seen anything like that .

Here in my country is very difficult to buy things related with ww2
there are fakes and few good things other ones are overpriced, i think.
