But, IMO the E&F Horster maker mark you showed,its well known fake.
Horster used different TM.

Its the correct hj knife logo with the typical ges. Geschutz frase as far as i can see,
Its the logo of the backside of the knife in the R. Siegert npea & hj book.
I cant see anything being wrong with it.

i looked again in R.Siegerts book and he only placed the logo in the right corner, and didnt showed the back of the knife.
So unfortunate that cant be linked to the knife 100%.

Very interesting indeed.
This shows exactly how much faith one possesses to buy it!
Peronally, I would have stayed away from this one:
- Early motto (very deep) on a ricassoed blade (without maker or RZM)
- Late (very aged) hilt
- Late grips with a diamond that pretty much follows the checker pattern
- Scabbard doesn't really matter
But other things do suggest originality
- Rivets have not been messed with
- Personalized grip plate
- The trouble to fake this knife wouldn't be worth the price
Maybe future research will prove this knife to be 100% original (toch heb ik mijn twijfels).
Either way, it's a very interesting piece!!
