Is this from an auction? I would proceed with caution if it is because one picture of a piece like this does not suffice.
i cant really tell from the image it may be good but it is to bad an image !!

I believe this is a copy. The pattern on the handle slabs and the fit of the diamond, as well as the scabbard has a lip at the throat.
These are all signs of a copy.

$30 is the asking price for all in picture
Chinese repro.. you can buy these new for $25
the scabbard lacks the scabbard rivet to hold the liner ( spring to hold the knife in the scabbard by pressure)
one needs no futher look if the scabbard lacks the rivet.
