Hi Zephyr...the logo is a German producer..which is the WKC Co. Weyersburg Kirschbaum &Cie..I will move this thread to the K98 forum for further discussion. There are some gents that will tell you exactly what you have what year produced etc. Regards Larry

To my knowledge it is a privately purchased 1WW era german sidearm - walking-out dress bayo or trench knife or both together (two in one).
And I would say it´s damn nice item as well

The logo is from around 1900 through WWI. I used to know exactly, but will have to dig around to be sure. I have a Prussian model 1871 dress sawback with the same logo.
