Hi everyone,
I just saw this bayonet up for auction here in Sweden.
I would reckon the bayonet is OK, but not the etching.
195128. BAJONETT, 3 SS- Panzer Division Totenkopf.
Please let me know your thoughts.

too many postwar fakes of these.

Although the original poster should learn to do this himself.

It's too bad about this one, it WAS a fairly decent ks98. I don't like that it was done at all, but most of the ks98's that have had this done to them, are usually, fairly rough. Meaning, they picked them up cheap, did the acid etch, and turned a tidy profit. It really pisses me off that such a decent one was ruined!

It's sad that people ruin a piece of history for profit. Can't people appreciate the item for its historical value instead of its monetary value?
Is it a real one???
