Hello, I need help Identifying the difference between a ww1 1884/98 bayonet and a ww2 k98. I know there are are a couple different models or patterns but are there any obvious ways to tell the difference?
Im usually pretty good with bayonets but these 2 I'm not familiar with. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply!
Thing is I don't have any because Im unable to tell the difference. I strictly collect ww1 bayonets. I have like 35 and about half of them are German. but I have no 1884/98's and I've probably missed out on a few thinking there k98's. This is the one bayonet I cannot identify.

Have a look here
k98 bayonets data and registry
This will show all the variations and manufacturers after WW1.
If no one else does it, I will try to find some information on WW1 versions.
