    Default DOT 42 bayonet S 24t

My one day off this week, thought I would dig out a couple bayo's and take some better pictures. I don"t know what is harder, finding, cataloging and properly identifying a new bayo, or taking good quality photographs of it. This is my Czech manufactured DOT 42 manufactured at Brunne werke.

Nice, I would like to get one of those one day. I have quite a few bayonets but this type is missing from my collection.

Waffenwerke Bruenn, or Zbrojovka Brno made S24(t) configuration, nice light grips, most real a depot piece.

Yes I forgot to comment on that last night those are a great occupation bayonet made by the Nazi's I need to pick up another one to replace one I had as they are going up in price and difficult to get as there ratio to the regular s84/98 is quite low and I think quite rare I have had some of the older hands tell me the 42 dated ones are harder to find so nice piece Jim. timothy

Sleepwalker, Those are some top notch examples!

Timothy, I have heard the "one is harder to find" go both ways. I don't know the production numbers, but it seems that they both come up for sale about the same in my experience.

    Hello,

observing the serial numbers... in the year 1942 there were made more than 1943

bevor the dot code... Brünn made until in the running year 1942 S24(t) with Z in circle and dopple cricle.. so 1942 is maybe the year with the most output of S24(t).

    Regards
