Dress Bayonet

Article about: Has anyone got any idea about this dress bayonet it looks like a naval button has been attached to the grip, the button does move slightly so it has not been attached with glue. z4.

    I noticed the grip on my bayonet has a clearing slot usually seen on combat bayonets was there any particular make did this.

    I like this bayonet. With the KM button on it, it appears far
    more believable than the myriad of made-up ruined
    ones we see with all sorts of bogus eagles
    and swastikas.........

    Z4, these was standard for the Gemany dress bayonet, produced during Imperial/Weimar era.

    That's what I thought it's not trying to make it something what is worth lots of money by faking.
