Dress bayonet

I just received this nice dress/ceremonial bayonet and I wonder what you guys think of it. It's in very good condition. I couldn't find any markings at all on it. The metal strip in one of the photos came out of the scabbard when I pulled the bayonet out. What is it?

Hello,

yes a Extra-Seitengewehr in correct frog.

The Metalpart is a locking spring to hold the blade in the scabbard.

Very simple, but typical for a walking out bayonet. It is only for decoration...not for service use.
