fake frog?

Article about: I've read the stickies and thank you to those that spent the time posting great information on frogs (admins!) I just bought one and hoping it is not faked. Opinions? RB number is 0/0448/002

    I've read the stickies and thank you to those that spent the time posting great information on frogs (admins!)

    I just bought one and hoping it is not faked. Opinions?

    RB number is 0/0448/0022 and I can't find a location code for it listed anywhere

    1943 or later vintage from what I can see it looks OK. In hand I would give it the 'smell' test, and if it smells like an old German holster not worry about it. Best Regards, Fred

    It appears okay to me as well.
    If you look through this thread, you may be able to determine who it was made by.
    The Reichsbetriebsnummer RB numbering system.
