    Looks original just has some condition issues. I think it was originally brown during WWI. I have a 1934 dated frog that had the front parts refinished black.

    Original 98/05 WW1 era or Weimer frog. I didn't find that maker in my list of them some of them were even made WW2 Wheeler states none were made past 1942. Nice original frog that needs some TLC. timothy

    Thanks for the useful information. Manufacturer FRANZ BREHME WALSRODE. Hard to see, but in my 1942

    Hello,

    this is a typical frog from Breme Walsrode out of 1941. Made for Police and SHD (with RLM stamp)

    This one is very damaged.

    Agree with Sleepwalker but would add that the marking is FRANZ BREHME > WALSRODE 1942. Examples in this pattern dated 1941 are also recorded for this maker. My thoughts only .....

    I can not see any 1942... this model i know only out of 1941

    From my collection here is an example of this model frog by Brehme with the same marking but dated 1942. Marking is FRANZ BREHME > WALSRODE 1942. Sorry that the stamping is a bit faint and difficult to photograph.
