Default S24(t) DOT 43 Brunn Bayonet

Larry C asked me to post pictures of my bayonet. Thanks again to Jim P for his coding data and more pertainent information he added to this post. Probably more pictures than you will ever want to see of a bayonet. Use as you will for reference or if you are a bayonet nut I hope you like.

This S24(t) DOT 43 Bayonet was made at the Brunn plant in Czechoslovakia. The bayonet is in excellent condition and is exactly as found complete with frog. The bayonet and scabbard are German proofed and ordinance marked “DOT” for the Brunn factory. The year 43 is stamped on back of blade as shown in pictures as year of production 1943. The number 3341 b is stamped on blade near cross guard. The Waffenamt stamp of 63 is on the scabbard as well as the pommel of the bayonet. Dot 43 scabbard matching the bayonet itself as well. Shown as well with the G.33/40 Carbine Rifle.

    Hi Jim,

Great information on the bayonet and thanks. For years I have had the bayonet and always called it a G24 which is what my collector buddy Grandfather called it. I really appreciated some greater detail on it so most appreciated. I have corrected my thread info so it is labeled correctly going forward. It has been great meeting new people like yourself and the knowledge everyone adds. Have a great day and thanks again!
