Anderson..Thankyou very much on the update...is there any information in George Wheelers K98 Reference regarding this?
His reference is quite pricey and curious if anyone may have more insight on this.
It is also assumed that a choice made by the producers and sub contractors may have elected to fill in place existing color felt stock?
Thoughts ?

I have a bayonet with green in the slot and a brown leather frog. I was told it is Luftwaffe Police. Green probably means something different for Heer.
